The Terrace Room has been throwing parties since the Art Deco era and the room still carries it — bronze pendants, wrought iron, and a wall of glass that does half your lighting design for you.

How much does a wedding DJ cost at The Terrace Room?
Weddings at The Terrace Room start at $2,200 for the four-hour Golden Gate package with DJ/MC service and dance-floor lighting. Most couples choose the Palace of Fine Arts package, starting at $3,500, which adds ceremony audio, cocktail-hour music, and uplighting. The Coit Tower package, starting at $4,800, adds custom monogram projection, the full lighting rig, and the photo booth.
What does a DJ need to know about The Terrace Room?
It is a hard-surfaced historic ballroom with a wall of glass, which means sound behaves very differently at 7pm with 190 seated guests than it does at an empty walkthrough. We bring a system sized for reflective rooms and set levels so conversation still works at the tables while the floor stays loud where it counts.
Where does the dance floor go?
The Terrace Room seats around 190 with a dance floor in and holds about 250 standing, so floor placement decides the night. We would rather put it where the windows are behind the crowd — your photographer gets the lake and the lights behind every shot instead of a black wall.

Do you carry insurance and provide a COI?
Always. We carry $2 million in liability insurance and provide a certificate of insurance on request, naming the venue as needed.
Are you an officiant too?
DJ Dream officiates. Some couples have him marry them and then run the night — one vendor who already knows every beat of the day.
